Dorchester Town Council has organised the Dorchester Earth Day event and it will be taking place on the 23rd April on The Great Field in Poundbury between 12:00 – 16:00.
The day promises to provide inspirational talks from local groups on the climate and the environment. There will also be stalls, fun activities and engaging and educational workshops.
One of the highlights of the event will be a clothes swap and attendees are invited to bring clothing and accessories with them to swap. A huge contributor to climate change is the garments industry, which is responsible for an astonishing 8% of total greenhouse gas emissions.
Everyone is welcome to what is promised to be a fantastic day out for the whole family!
