Risk Consultant

As part of our continued investment in risk management we are seeking Risk Consultants located in or around the Nottthingham, Derby and Sheffield areas.  This exciting opportunity is aimed at multi discipline Consultants who have a good understanding of fire & perils, property, business interruption, crime & security & liability, with CAR and sprinklers seen as an added benefit.

 

Consideration would be given to a property focused Consultant who is looking to develop their skills into a multi discipline environment.

Skills required

 

• A minimum of 5 years risk management experience for either an Insurer, Broker or Underwriter

• A good understanding of process risks and the associated risk management solutions needed for them. Experience in applying this knowledge in an industrial setting would be beneficial, or the ability and want to learn in this area.

• Knowledge of fire protection standards would be beneficial

• High levels of self-motivation with a real passion for the role

• Great IT and keyboard skills with the ability to be able to learn inhouse systems swiftly

• Outstanding communications skills with the ability to negotiate and gain trust

• The ability to adapt to your surroundings

• The ability to quickly identify and analyse critical details

• The ability to convey your findings in a concise manner

• Evidence of having worked for an insurance company, Broker or Underwriter previously

• A full UK driving licence

Overview

 

The successful candidate will be home based, so must be self-driven, and will be expected to produce relevant risk management reports on behalf of our customers after attending site to carry out surveys, or after having undertaken a telephone based survey intervention. Due to our client base, the work will be wide ranging across the full spectrum of commercial and industrial risks and the reporting formats will vary. Surveys Coordinator

Due to an internal promotion we have an exciting vacancy for a full time Surveys Coordinator based between our head office in Poundbury and the successful candidates home. 
The successful candidate will be required to work from our head office for at least the first month, and then consideration will be given to splitting the working week between our office and the candidates home.  The working hours are 35 per week, across Monday to Friday.


The role is responsible for co-ordinating the diary management and work flow of allocated Surveyors. The position requires outstanding communication skills to ensure that working patterns are understood, that work volumes are managed, and that the necessary skillsets and geographical restrictions are taken into account.

 

If you have good working knowledge of Windows based applications, great keyboard skills and if you are enthusiastic, a team player and a brilliant communicator we would love to hear from you.

Surveyor

We are seeking an employed Insurance Rebuild Surveyor to join our rapidly expanding business where we are operating at the forefront of digital risk management solutions.

 

The Position:

The successful candidates will be working as part of our Dorset based surveyor team

Ideally you will be:

Qualified and/or experienced in areas such as: construction, building surveying, quantity surveying, commercial and/or residential property, insurance, and risk management
Have knowledge of insurance industry requirements relating to commercial and residential risks.
Have an interest in and an understanding of buildings and contents, as well as the various perils and risk areas around residential and commercial property
Have good IT, communication, and problem-solving skills

Due to our client base, our work is a combination of desktop assessments, telephone-based consultations, and site visits, which will be wide ranging across the full spectrum of commercial and residential property risks, including HNW clients, and will include many listed, unique and bespoke structures.

The Position:
The successful candidates will be working as part of a team of Surveyors based at our head office in Poundbury, carrying out desktop rebuild cost assessments and local site surveys. In addition, they will be acting as technical support to the assessment team and advising our ever growing client base,

You will be:

Administrator

Due to our continued and rapid growth we have a vacancy for a full time Administrator with RebuildCostASSESSMENT.com (part of the RiskSTOP Group). The initial contract will be for a 12 month period with the potential of it being extended.


The position is 40 hours per week, working Monday – Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work from our head office for at least the first three months, and then consideration will be given to splitting the working week between our office and your home.
