Chelsea-Danielle Papasideris and Amy Lillington, both Business Unit Team Leaders at RebuildCostASSESSMENT.com, and RiskSTOP Business Unit Team Leader Rich Narramore, achieved the ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management through their studies with Bournemouth and Poole College.
The ILM qualification covers a range of key management attributes, builds leadership capabilities and importantly helps supervisors put their newly acquired skills into practice.
Rich Narramore, commented: “The part of the course I really enjoyed was understanding different leadership styles and how they can impact on your own performance and others we work with. Overall, I feel I have more tools under my belt now, especially when it comes to performance management and managing change, and I generally feel more confident in my role.
“It’s a great course and qualification and around another eight members of the team here have also now signed up to take the ILM Award.”
The ILM course and qualification is just one of many training initiatives introduced by the RiskSTOP Group this year.
Danny Lillington, RiskSTOP Managing Director said: “Things move at an incredible pace now in business and it’s important we all keep learning and developing in our roles. We also know that being given the opportunity to acquire new skills and capabilities helps us to attract and retain local talent and improves on the quality of service we’re able to offer our clients. People and quality training are critical to the success of any modern organisation.”
