Abbie Davis, Team Leader & Neurodiversity Ambassador, spearheaded this partnership to expand the company’s commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) into the wider community.

Abbie, alongside Natalie Joyce, RiskSTOP Group’s Head of Sustainability, visited Autism Unlimited’s head office, where they saw firsthand the charity’s dedication to fostering growth and inclusion for autistic individuals.

“I was specifically looking for a local charity that goes above and beyond for neurodiverse individuals and Autism Unlimited stood out. Their team is deeply passionate about their work, supporting and empowering autistic children, adults and their families. Their values align with our own,” Abbie said. “Seeing the incredible work they’re doing, we knew this partnership could have a positive and lasting impact.”

The planned Esports facility promises to provide a space where autistic children and young adults can develop skills and enjoy a sense of community through gaming, reinforcing the charity’s mission of empowering individuals through education and social engagement.

Inspiration drives the partnership

The partnership aims to benefit not only Autism Unlimited but also enhance RiskSTOP Group’s internal neurodiversity initiatives. Abbie added, “They have inspired me, and we’re excited to have projects in the pipeline that will provide our team with greater insights into autism and neurodiversity. Autism Unlimited’s expertise can help us improve our inclusivity and make RiskSTOP Group an even safer place for neurodivergent individuals.”

RiskSTOP Group envisions a long-term, collaborative relationship with Autism Unlimited, focused on raising both awareness and funds to support the charity’s mission. Abbie expressed hope for ongoing opportunities for employees to engage with Autism Unlimited through events and initiatives, enabling the partnership to grow and evolve. “We want to help them raise money and awareness, and we also look forward to learning from them—improving our understanding, inclusivity, and support within RiskSTOP Group.”
