Paul has worked in the insurance industry for almost 30 years. He began his career as a loss adjuster, then after 10 years made the switch to “trying to prevent losses instead.” Over a period of 18 years Paul worked his way up to the position of Global Practice Lead & Senior Technical Risk Engineer at Zurich, and recently operated as a Senior Consultant Risk Engineer with Tokio Marine.

Nigel Raywood, Development Director at RiskSTOP Group, said: “Paul is a highly experienced and strongly qualified risk engineer who, as well as his obvious technical skills, will bring a wealth of knowledge and understanding of client and account management to our team.

“He has a passion for developing soft-skills among those he works with, which of course is a crucial element of ensuring risks are well managed and mitigated on behalf of our clients.”

Paul Farmer added: “I’m excited to be part of what is an innovative and growing organisation and I’m also very much looking forward to supporting the team with their ongoing learning and development.”
