Can't Stop Christmas!

Well there is no doubt that Christmas 2020 at RiskSTOP Group was like no other! We appreciate that Christmas would have been very different for so many people and businesses all over the world and we are grateful that our team pulled together and made it as special as they could.

The team at RiskSTOP Group have always been incredibly charity focused and they really showed this over the Christmas period this year. Our team members have been supporting Dorset’s food banks for some time now, and in view of the Christmas period being a particularly tough time of the year for some, and because we are in the midst of a global pandemic we asked our team whether they could donate a little more and boy did they deliver! The majority of our team from our Head Office in Poundbury are currently working from home, so to make it as easy as possible for them to donate, and to allow the whole group to donate we set up a shopping list online that allowed them to be able to purchase items and have them delivered to our offices. Over £600 worth of non-perishable food items were donated and we delivered them safely to our local food banks.

We bought two bundles of prizes for our internal Christmas raffle and our team purchased tickets and raised a brilliant £538 for our chosen charity Hangers Heroes. In a bid to support the community local to our Head Office one bundle was jam packed full of vouchers for businesses in Poundbury and the other bundle was a digital prize, packed full of vouchers for stores online.

RiskSTOP Group is famous for its Christmas parties but with it being impossible to have a social gathering over Christmas 2020 we adapted and organised a virtual cheers via Zoom for the whole group. It was fantastic to see so many of the team join us for some fun and games.

As a thank you to our team for their hard work, dedication and support throughout a very unusual year we provided the team at Mey House with a gift bag filled with Christmas treats and gift vouchers were sent to our field team.
