What do hundreds of miles, a few whipped cream pies, and a sense of team spirit have in common? They all played their part in RiskSTOP Group’s Give Back Day 2025, where colleagues laced up, stepped out, and came together to raise vital funds for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
This year’s challenge, which formed part of the Ardonagh Giveback Challenge, invited teams across RiskSTOP Group to turn their “purposeful miles” into life-saving aid. For every mile completed, £5 was donated to MSF, helping fund emergency medical care in crisis zones around the world.

From scenic walks around Poundbury to cycling, swimming, and even a lively round of office Olympics, RiskSTOP Group went all out for MSF.
In total, the team clocked an outstanding 1,071 miles. That, combined with additional fundraising throughout the day, we raised just over £5,500. A collective effort that directly supports MSF’s work providing urgent medical care where it’s needed most.

Reflecting on the day, Natalie Joyce, Head of Social Responsibility and Sustainability at RiskSTOP Group, said, “Give Back Day is always one of the highlights of our year. It’s all about the people. Seeing everyone contribute in their own way and knowing those miles translate into vital aid is something we can all be proud of.”
These are the moments which bring everyone at RiskSTOP Group together. As always, there was plenty of laughter, a few sore legs, and some unforgettable moments, including the unforgettable whipped cream pie challenge for select team leaders.

While this was an opportunity to step away from the desk for a moment, the focus remained on making an impact. MSF’s teams work tirelessly across more than 70 countries to deliver medical assistance to those affected by conflict, epidemics, and natural disasters. The funds raised by RiskSTOP Group colleagues will contribute directly to that essential mission.
As the final tallies came in, the week drew to a close with a clear sense of achievement across the team. Proof that when it comes to giving back, the people of RiskSTOP Group really do go the extra mile.
