There was a strong sense of community at Dorchester Arts on Thursday, 16 October, as RiskSTOP Group joined local supporters for the Charity Angels UK Fashion Show 2025, an event dedicated to celebrating life after breast cancer and raising funds for Against Breast Cancer.
Fourteen women from Dorset, each with personal experience of breast cancer, took to the catwalk to show that confidence and joy can continue after diagnosis.
'Something we're proud to support'
“The Charity Angels UK Dorchester Fashion Show was a truly inspiring event,” said Natalie Joyce, Head of Social Responsibility and Sustainability at RiskSTOP Group. “Fourteen incredible women from Dorset, each with personal experience of breast cancer, took to the catwalk to show that there is life after diagnosis, and to celebrate that life. RiskSTOP Group was proud to sponsor the evening, with all proceeds supporting Against Breast Cancer. A memorable night for a remarkable cause.”
“Few, if any of us, do not know someone who has been touched by breast cancer. Part of recovery is rediscovering yourself and learning to live with this new ‘normal’. The Charity Angels UK Dorchester Fashion Show aims to help with this important rediscovery,” said event organiser Jane Hinnrichs ahead of the event.
Donations still coming in
This year’s event has raised over £11,000 for Against Breast Cancer so far, with donations still coming in. These funds help to advance vital research into earlier diagnosis, improved treatments, and ultimately, the discovery of a vaccine against breast cancer – a mission that has guided the charity for more than three decades.
RiskSTOP Group is proud to have supported this year’s event and to recognise the ongoing commitment of Charity Angels UK in raising awareness and funding vital research that continues to make a real difference.
